Rose Kent has begun author visits for 2009-2010. She is delighted to visit schools, librarians, and book clubs.

Rose has just finished revisions on ROCKY ROAD, due out from Knopf Books in 2010.
When asked for a glimpse into this middle-grade novel set in an upstate NY ice cream shop, Rose says,
“Scoop one artistic, determined young girl, blend with a lovable if fallible family, and add spoonfuls of uh-oh challenge and put a cherry on top....”
After ROCKY ROAD, Rose is finishing a baseball story set in 1974, for which she is getting LOTS of material watching her son's baseball games.
