Children's book author Rose Kent is an incurable believer in the power of story to pour humor and hope into our lives! Her first award-winning book, Kimchi & Calamari (HarperCollins, 2007, paperback March 2010) introduced a funny Korean adopted tween named Joseph who was on a mission to find his identity and cope with middle school angst.
Her next book, Rocky Road (Knopf Publishers, June 2010) introduces Tess Dobson, an artistic girl who moves to upstate NY in the dead of winter along with her struggling mother and deaf little brother to open an ice cream shop against the odds.
