Speaking at schools and other venues is the ultimate thrill. I joyfully share my story about becoming a writer, and I talk up the value of the 3 Rs – reading, writing, and relating the wonders of everyday life. We discuss my first book, KIMCHI & CALAMARI, and I promote the power of writing to help students discover their message in a bottle: what they want to do and tell the world.
And we have plenty of laughs. Story and laughter go together nicely.
